TERRI MARSTELLER
Gear 51 Owner
Along with her husband Rick Marsteller, Terri lives on a large farm that shares the land with Gear 51 (formerly Centre Vew Auto owned and operated by the Marstellers). Terri's story is quite unique. Long after she had forgotten about a few strange occurrences she had experienced as a child, Terri found herself faced with events she had trouble understanding as an adult. In late 2009, Terri reached out to the York County Paranormal Research Team (Y.C.P.R.T.) to help her make sense of these events, and quickly found herself intrigued with the theories and technology of modern paranormal studies.
Today, after extensive formal and independent training, both Terri and Rick are full-time members of the Y.C.P.R.T. and are showing no signs of slowing down. In 2011, the Marstellers decided to make some changes in their lives. Rick retired from auto work to focus on farming the large amount of land they live on, and after selling the auto business to a previous business associate, Terri decided to convert what used to be Centre View's showroom into a two-part retail establishment. One side (The Treasure Chest) was designed to be a secondhand and consignment shop, and Gear 51 was designed to be the region's first paranormal resource center.
From curious client to trained field researcher, to the proprietor of the region's most unique paranormal equipment and resource center, Terri's journey has taken her from one extreme to the other.
